I was wondering if linuxforums.org would be interested in starting a folding@home team. As of now 85% of the folding users are running windows, and only 10% for linux. I just think it would be cool to support the forums, and also get the forum users to put their idle machines to work for a good cause. Thanks..

I think it's something similar to SETI @ Home, where you donate your extra clock cycles to a project that's working on gene folding or something to that effect. :wink:

i'm still confused. but ill do whatever i can to help.....
Running some stuff now...pretty large job. It's disconcerting that the linux executable is an .exe file, but you can't have everything, I guess.
