A note on posting...

I've noticed that a number of posts for help contain very little information regarding the problem. This makes it difficult to resolve the issue.
I understand when new to this, you may not be sure what to include in your post, so here are some common items to include:

cpu : ram : harddrive size, basically any hardware specs related to the issue.
example: my modem won't work ... (include the type of modem, etc.), distro you are running, attempting to install.
Essentially the more information supplied, the better the chance of resolution. If not sure what information to include, or how to locate that info, include that in your initial post and I'm sure someone will help you with that as well.
