Gaming on a virtual machine

I understand VMware doesn't have 3D acceleration, and thus isn't good for Windows gaming on Linux. Are there any other virtual machine programs that can run 3D Windows games on Linux?

Not that I'm aware of, and unless you have a supercomputer, your performance would be pretty atrocious even if they did. The resource overhead of having to emulate an entire computer is simply too much.

There are alternatives for running MS Windows games in Linux, like WINE and Cedega.

I'm aware of that, and I use wine right now, but I thought if there was a VM solution that it would work better and with more games. Thanks for the info
