Exclamation udev

Problem all the distros i have tried stop at udev they won't go any further, if i remove my twinhan vision plus sat card they all boot up , tried most distros inc. puppy with same result, don't wont to buy new sat card as it works on windoze is there any way to block it on boot and then put drivers in for it, Thanks for reading

Welcome to the forums!

Different distributions have different cheat codes (or kernel boot options) that you can try at boot time. Another option might be to disable any devices that are conflicting with your installation CD in the BIOS before booting the CD.
