sw21 Just Joined! Join Date: Sep 2009 Posts: 2	wmv with vlc Hello, Sometimes I have a problem when I read wmv files with vlc : I can only play from 00:00 to the end. I can not jump to for example the 10th minute. I dont have this problem when I do it with windows media player on my virtual machine. I would like to play my wmv on linux, what soft ware could I use if vlc doesnt work correctly ? I use vlc 1.0.1 on fedora 11

b2bwild Linux Engineer Join Date: Jul 2008 Location: Behind You! Posts: 1,064	You have to install the codec, to install w32codec using YUM, Follow this GUIDE then execute "yum install w32codec" after you add the repository in yum setup. __________________ Microsoft isn't bad its just stupid.
