How to convert rm to mp3?
Hi!
Can someone point me into the right direction on how to convert an .rm file into mp3? I have both mencoder and ffmpeg installed, but their command line interface seems a bit cryptic to me. (Still, if you have a (maybe even more than) few-line solution, I'm not reluctant to type it in myself, so go ahead and share it with us.
)
Thank you!
Agoston

it looks like more than one problem....but im not sure what to do about it.

1) Try it as not root, but a normal user
2) make sure you are in the same location as your file.
3) You might try replacing rawaudio with -of lavf

ok it made a dif going as normal user (i think) the raw audio didnt work and neither did the lavf. so i removed the -of option entirely and got this:

Perl Audio Convertor is a great program for this. You can use it from within Konqueror, as an Amarok script, or from the command line.

If you get an error saying an application can't be found check the /etc/pacpl/pacpl.conf file. You can point to a different location for the binary there. The default is /usr/bin.
