I have downloaded mplayer, it plays a Divx movie but will not play a DVD disc. I get an error message New-Face failed wrong font path, the DVD starts but quickly stops.Help in simple language please I am a total beginner. I have Suse 10.2 and have also downloaded libdvdcss and w32 codec.
Mplayer cannot handle DVD menus. I have encountered similar problems with some (rare) DVD-s. VLC is better for DVD playback (sometimes even better than Xine).
