Iam using mp3blaster now for playing my mp3 collection on my p166 text based Debian 3.0....
But I want to listening to online radio also..I can play ...

Hia Linux peeps,
Iam using mp3blaster now for playing my mp3 collection on my p166 text based Debian 3.0....
But I want to listening to online radio also..I can play in in windows under Media Player and and some other stations Real Player..
Sow my question is.
Are there any text based applications who can be replace does windows applications...

command line only mplayer plays audio streams although it would take a while to compile on your P1 :)
to start the stream do:
try "cplay" it uses curses and is obviously much more minnimal than mplayer but im not sure if it supports streaming audio - should do though!Code:mplayer htpp://www.shoutcast.com/myfavouritestream/stream.pls

Checkout the following console audio players
mpg123
Dreamplayer
mp3blaster
You should be able to link these to the ogg/mp3 radio streams from icecast or shoutcast.
