command line only mplayer plays audio streams although it would take a while to compile on your P1 :)

    to start the stream do:
    Code:
    mplayer htpp://www.shoutcast.com/myfavouritestream/stream.pls
try "cplay" it uses curses and is obviously much more minnimal than mplayer but im not sure if it supports streaming audio - should do though!

Checkout the following console audio players

    mpg123
    Dreamplayer
    mp3blaster

You should be able to link these to the ogg/mp3 radio streams from icecast or shoutcast.
