    Recording and guitar pro?

    Hi I'm a guitarist and I need something like guitar pro for linux, My band mates and I live far away from each other, so I must to be able to use guitar pro files in the linux "guitar pro"

    And I would like to have a recording program for linux as well

    You should have a look at Home | Ubuntu Studio. It is an approximately 800 mb download and it contains lots of music software, also has low latency kernel.
    Also check ardour, rosegarden, jacklab and the all time favorite audacity. I hope this helps
