Configure Firefox for to play wma files?
Hi guys,
Im using fedora 7. I use firefox for web browsing. But i cannot view videos on some pages. I think its the sites requires windows media player to play the videos. I have done a lot searching on the web. but it seems that its a very complicated process to install the plugins to the fire fox. I have to manually edit the files in firefox plugin folder right?can someone guide me through this process? I have VLC player and realone player10 installed. but from realone player i cannot watch .avi files. will these players help me to view videos on webites?
in my /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins i have these files:
libflashplayer.so libtotem-mully-plugin.so
libtotem-basic-plugin.so libtotem-mully-plugin.xpt
libtotem-basic-plugin.xpt libtotem-narrowspace-plugin.so
libtotem-complex-plugin.so libtotem-narrowspace-plugin.xpt
libtotem-complex-plugin.xpt nphelix.so
libtotem-gmp-plugin.so nphelix.xpt
I would really appreciate if someone can give me step by step instructions, or a link that will help me to solve this.
Thanks in advance.

Problem Solved
Hi again,
I have finally solved this problem. I installed the MPlayer and its firefox plugin through yum. It turned out that i did not have this player, because i did not install KDE in my lap. now i can view any video that is embedded in a webpage as long as mplayer supports its extention.
