Hey, i've been doing some recording with ardour and the only problem I have been facing is getting distortion on my guitar working right. Here's the setup...

Guitar --> Guitar Amplifier --> Line-out on amplifier into the Line-in on computer sound card (soundblaster live!) --> Computer processing...

then i have my headphones connected to the speaker jack on the back.

What i'm really wondering is if there is a special combination of ladspa plugins to use to get a nice distortion sound or is there a plugin that i just don't know about? If anyone has any feedback that would be awsome, thanx.

BTW... I have tried using the distortion through my guitar amp but it's too scrambled on playback after recorded, I just can't get it right.. and most of the problem is not having an external mixer (which is coming someday). I just wanna get around using distortion through my amp.
