linux native EVE? when did they get that?
so,
about a week ago I was trying to get eve to run in wine and failing, then I got sidetracked by several other things (such as work and internet malfunction issues) and today I go to the Eve website and notice that they now have a native linux version available, I know this must be a recent development and was wondering if anybody has tried it yet. If so, does it work well? any bugs I should be wary of?

I have not tried Eve yet but I will pretty soon and you are right, it is a new development. I remember reading about this on slashdot 2 weeks ago. I have tried Alien Arena and I think if you like FPS (Doom, Quake) you will love Alien Arena. It works flawlessly for me.

Well see, the thing is, it's not a native Linux version. It's the Windows version with a cedega wrapper. I cannot run it, see my post here.
I would love to play it if this problem can be fixed.
NOTE: The problem I had in OpenSuSE was fixed, but it now has the exact same problem that I have in Ubuntu. I tried it in Fedora 8 with the same problem.
