    hi,
    I'm looking for a program that can loop over part of a song over and over again, say I wanna play song.mp3 from 2:19 to 4:34 over and over again. Does anyone know any good programs out there? Thanks.

    how about xmms, it has a repeat option.

    If you want to edit a song to only hear part, check out freshmeat, audacity might fit your need.

    I don't think xmms can do that. The repeat function can play a song over and over again but not part of a song.

    audacity is ideal.

    I know, thats where audacity comes in. Cut the song to what you want, then replay that song.
