    remote audio

    Hi all,
Does anyone know of any programs that run on either linux or windows (preferably both) that I can use to play remote audio files locally on my laptop? I don't want to set up any sort of server system for it but if it's the best/only way that's not so big a problem. I have an old computer that is running CentOS that I'm storing my mp3s on and would like to be able to play them from outside my home LAN using my laptop (Has ubuntu and XP).

    thanks
