can anyone tell me where i can find linux drivers for ati radeon 9000 grfx crd please? downloaded 1 from www.ati.com but dnt think it had any efferct not sure ...

can anyone tell me where i can find linux drivers for ati radeon 9000 grfx crd please? downloaded 1 from www.ati.com but dnt think it had any efferct not sure how to confgure it

Darn it - I was just going to recommend that website. When I installed my NVIDIA GeForce driver I typed sh then the full name of the driver at the prompt (darkstar or whatever you've called it).
As for alternative sites I can't seem to find one on Google. Sorry about that. I hope I've managed to help you.

Did you follow ATI's installation HOWTO on the driver download page?

the ati download is an rpm file.
u have to install it by runng rpm -Uvh filename.rpm at a terminal then it tells u what else if anything u have to do
