Anyone know of a simple movie maker for Linux? Something similar to Windows Movie Maker with basic features like arranging/combining/splitting movie clips, adding soundtracks, transitions, etc. Something more advanced like special effects wouldn't be bad either. Thanks!

This is a easy app. with lot of features...this worked well for me!
I installed this with Synaptic Package Manager.
kdenlive | non-linear video editor for kde
KINO is another app. good if u want to capture from DV Cam.
Ubuntu:Edgy -
Cinnelera is another app. but is a bit complicated though...it maybe different for you give it a try...

A poll in Ubuntu on this...but dont tk that as a reason for ur choice try everything urself...its fun and most of them takes very less space and time to install!!!

Can u specify which linux you are using? So that i can help you specifically.
I assume you are using a internet connection!

Kdenlive is avialable in Universe source. Execute this
Code:sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install kdenlive
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
