How to make Totem skip over errors..

I had sound quality issues with VLC, so I tried Totem. Works fine, except that every time it finds a file in its playlist that it can't play it throws an error and waits for me to click OK. Duh. There are text files & stuff all through my MP3/OGG directories, as there should be. Is there an "ignore things I don't know how to play" option? - or is there a simple hack that will make it behave more sensibly?; thx.

Thought this was quite amusing and non-commital.
