Hi. I can get YouTube .MP4 video to play in Second Life without difficulty, but can't for the life of me get any sound to accompany it.

This is odd, because I can play other audio ok in Second Life and I can play .MP4s ok in Kaffeine, so all the components must be there somewhere...

My OS is OpenSuse 10.3, and the installed driver is apparently "TYPE 10: ALSA Emulation"

I've experimented with uncommenting the appropriate lines of the Second Life script to force it to use ALSA, but if I uncomment ##export LL_BAD_OSS=x then I don't get any sound in SL at all.

Can anyone advise me, bearing in mind I don't know a great deal about Linux other than that it runs far faster and more reliably on my machine than Windows XP ever did?
