    Hosting music on ubuntu machine that Xbox360 can play?


    I noticed my house mate can access the music from his Mac on our Xbox360 in the living room via our wireless network.

    Is this a way to access my music on my linux box?

    yeah I am working on the same thing. Have you found anything out. I would be curious to know. what version of linux are you using.

    Ok, resurrecting an old post here so apologies for that, however thought it might be worth adding to this thread that there is a tutorial online for doing what was talked about above:

    I've not tried it myself yet (largely because I'm still in the process of actually getting Linux installed!) but I'll certainly give it a go when I can.
