RealPlayer
I installed RealPlayer 11 in Ubuntu 8.04 and It shows up on the Applications/ Sound & Video list.. However, I can't seem to get any sound out of it. When I specify RealPlayer to run a music track, the player pops up, it shows that it has accepted the file, and the player 'progress bar' does move left to right. I just no sound.
Also, getting my collection of MP3 files recognized by RealPlayer, or accessed by Ubuntu any way would be great, but I cannot seem to figure it out. Those files are stored on an external hard drive albeit created under Windows.
Clearly I am new to Linux and Ubuntu. Any ideas on getting RP to give me sound?
All thoughts and ideas appreciated.
