    Video format converter(s)

Firstly, I hope this is the correct thread to post this in.

I have a funny clip in WMV but want to upload it to my phone though it does not support WMV. Is there any program for Linux that can convert these kinds and/or other video media files to mp4 or 3gp etc.?

One program that for convert is ffmpeg. As far as I know, it can convert most of the video. But it is command line program. I dunno whether it has GUI or not. But most of the program in Linux has its GUI version. So I think just need a little googling is enough.
