New to SuSE and want to sync Ipod
Now using SuSE 11.1 and am curious what will happen when I connect my Ipod 60gb classic. I have movies and stored files etc, will they be lost if i connect? What things should I do to keep all intact and start adding movies and music via SuSE.
Ipod was previously used on MacBook OS 10.5 etc and latest Itunes version.
Thanks

When you plug in your iPod, an icon should appear on your desktop, or on your taskbask if you use KDE 4. You can open it, exactly as you would a USB-stick.
You can also use Amarok to play files stored in the iPod or to upload them to the iPod.
I have connected my iPod to Ubuntu & Fedora, it shouldn't be any different in OpenSuse. I haven't tried any syncing options (not even with iTunes on Win & Mac!!)
