Are you looking for video editing software or just regular old playback?

Allow me to illustrate: a video editor will allow you to take videos you created and add things like title screens, subtitles, visual effects, and also change the length of scenes and such.
A video player (playback) will allow you to watch videos you download either from the internet or have on disc. I've never heard of "gomplayer" but I gather since the name has "player" in it you're looking for software that provides video playback.
SuSE already has programs for this. What kind of video are you trying to watch?Registered Linux user #270181

A great video program that runs on Linux and on Windows is VLC. It can open almost every video type you can find.
Go to System -> Configuration -> Control Center (YaST) or press alt+f2 and typeThen start the Software Management-module by selecting it from the Software tabCode:yast
There, search for vlc, select it and click accept.
From inside the same tool you can do updates as well.
You can also check the official openSuse site.
