I thought it would be better to post this thread here instead of the security section, because I think posters here would probably be more familiar with this issue.


I downloaded the "autopackage", but it looks fishy. Once started, it stated additional files must be downloaded. These files were from a gardening supply website. It then asked for my password, so it could be run with root permission. I don't trust it. Has anyone else encountered this? ClamAV says it's clean, but I wanted to check with the experts first.
