You have to use winex (cedega) to PLAY CS in Linux. I've done it and only had problems with the mic input. That was during the 2.4 days, and I was using ALSA (quite buggy at the time). You may be able to resolve this issue now. As for gameplay, I ran pretty seamlessly on my GF4 under winex3.

ya but winex is l$60 a year. isnt there a way that doesnt cost you the price of a couple games?
