Hey All,

I am working with an early-stage media company that has developed Linux-based software to run on tv set-top boxes. Our potential investors are concerned that a large number of active consumer boxes, regardless of version, use another operating system and would require the software to be rewritten - perhaps numerous times.

Does anyone know where I could get a sense for Linux's market share among active set-top boxes? Any help would be greatly appreciated.. thanks in advance!
