I have never played tremulous, but I think instead of creating a server, you need to join someone elses server, that has users already signed on. I could be mistaken though.
I do not respond to private messages asking for Linux help, Please keep it on the forums only.

thanks MikeTbob,I'll check for any existing servers.
I really need some Action games , - because my windows friend annoyed my by installing delta-force on his system
and playing with it
- So I thought abt installing a good action game on my system. (system has 512MB RAM and Celeron
CPU )
I installed Alien Arena - BUt it was very slow on my machine.I have Madriva 2009 and Debian Lenny.
Any good action games suggestion?

americas army 2.5 and tremulous would be my two first person shooter picks for linux.
although you should give open arena a try too, i didn't like it so much, but it was still enjoyable. also cube, cube2:sauerbraten, and action cube look good.Microsoft isn't evil, they just make really crappy operating systems.

If you have windows games like CS:Source/1.6, DoD, CoD 2/4, Unreal Tournament 2004, Fallout 3, HL2, Team Fortress etc.
You can play those on wine. like i do. (but you cant win like i do. X_X)
For linux games, I prefer America's Army, Nexuis , Sauerbraten, Warsaw, Open Arena, but it lacks of public servers.

UT2004 runs natively in Linux... as do most of the Unreal series. I bought the anthology solely because it had tux on the box.
With Tremulous make sure you are getting servers from internet, not local, just click on 'source' then 'refresh list' in the server list.
Assault Cube is the game I play most though.

tremulous - It's reasonably fast too (in my celeron 1.7 GHZ and 512 RAM)
I would like to first figure out how to join existing server and play it
- I googled about join existing server - yet to find a useful link ... If you guyz know any links or friends who played tremulous then let me know.
