    There is a beta driver that you can try.

    Yes that is the one. Im to new to Linux so I know there is something I am overlooking.

    Since the current driver doesn't seem to be working, try the newer beta driver. If that isn't better, try one of the legacy drivers, at the top of this page.

    Or you could try one of the slightly older versions, found in the driver archive section.
