TTT - what distro are you using? I have RH9. Since the XMMS was removed from this distro, I've downloaded and installed XMMS again. Eventhough the XMMS was removed from RH9, the skins are still on the CDs. Just go to you Add/Remove Applications and select the application for the XMMS and install/add the skins again (in RH9 there is about 16 skins).

Under your home diirectory is a folder .xmms.So enter it then skins and put htere the skins you want.Then from xmms skin browser choose them
