Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
I just bought transformers: Revenge of the fallen, got home, started it up and realized my processor was not fast enough to run it smoothly.
I have a Intel dual core Pentium T3400 @ 2.16 GHz, and the transformers game needs an Intel Core 2 @ 2.13 GHz.
Is there a way to speed up the CPU, beside overclocking, to get the speed up, or, is it possible to upgrade the CPU, even though it is in a laptop.
The Laptop is a Compaq CQ61.
This may seem like a stupid idea, so I posted it here for help, but would I be able to take power from the RAM and convert it to help the CPU.
The game only needs 2 GB to run, and I have 4 GB, so would that work?

Have you actually tried running it? Minimum and recommended requirements for software are just estimates; you could be perfectly capable of running the game even though your specs don't match theirs exactly.
Your CPU isn't as important as your video hardware when it comes to 3D games. What sort of video card does your laptop have? If it's an integrated card you're probably out of luck and I'd see if you can return your game.
BTW - I'm guessing you're running this on Microsoft Windows. You do realize this is a forum dedicated to the Linux operating system, correct?Registered Linux user #270181
