    Multimedia Center

    Hi,

I'm trying to create a multimedia center out of an old computer. I'm looking for the best Linux distro for the job. Can any one help?

I'm looking for something that would run on the below specs, but preferably doesn't need to be connected to the internet. Something that's just aimed at multimedia like XBMC. And something that will play all/most formats out there.

The System I wan to run it on:

    Check Ubuntu Studio.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
