Flashplayer won't use my default alsa sound?

I like the turn stereo into fake surround sound, so it comes out of all 5.1 speakers. Have made this the default. But Adobe flashplayer takes no notice of me and just treats it as the normal stereo, left, right, subwoofer, and a little out of front centre.

Any idea how to get it to toe the line?

Sorry, thousand apologies, forget it. May have made an error in ~/asoundrc. But TvTime still won't use the alsa default.
