I'm running ubuntu 10.04 on my laptop. I'm currently running wine roughly version 1.41 and sometimes it acts oddly. Seems that every few times I run World of Warcraft, a little box pops up and says "hardware has changed. load default settings?" to which I click "no".

not that it's a big deal but I wonder why this happens. clearly I have not changed any hardware. I'm wondering if there is a current (newer than 2006 and newer than wine version .93) tutorial on setting warcraft up with wine. I must have something improperly configured. the game works, but still... just wondering.
