    i run ubuntu 10.4 amd 64 version on my laptop and want to play a beauty Game like the (Team Fortress 2) .
    is there this Game FOr My OS.

    I don't understand what you mean by a "beauty" game. Do you mean you want to install something that uses 3D graphics or looks "pretty"?

    If so, there are a few open-source games that look pretty good. Nexuiz and Tremulous come to mind.

    You can find the games adding the getdeb's repository:

    Go to System-Administration-Software Sources, Third-Party Software tab, Add:
    deb http://archive.getdeb.net/ubuntu lucid-getdeb games

    Add the repository GPG key, open a terminal window and type:
    wget -q -O- http://archive.getdeb.net/getdeb-archive.key | sudo apt-key add -

    There are lot of other games there, like warzone2100, warsaw, ufoai - alien invasion...

    Can't argue with that; but it's not like I understand the latest Win / Console games to be although I may be mistaken as I don't play those

    Sauerbraten is available through Synaptic although it may not be the very latest version.

    Are there any others, yeah loads. Fire up Synaptic and browse through the Games and Amusement categories.
