How do you delete sections of a clip in Kino?
I tried splitting a scene into two scenes and cutting the first few seconds that I didn't want. I saved it as e.ogv.dv, overwriting the original file. I opened the new file and it was no different: the part that I didn't want still played. I tried making a new project and copying the part that I did want, but it had the same effect. It won't let me save anything as a .dv, .mov, .mpeg, .mp3, or any other video format. The only thing it will let me save it as is an XML document that is just a link to the original file. Consequently it is literally impossible to alter a video in any way, shape, or form. Is there a way around this, or is Kino just a useless piece of ****?
