are there any made specifically for gaming, no, not really. Fedora has a gaming spin that you download the iso, and it has a bunch of games included, but all of them are available on the Fedora repositories for ANY install, so it's not really anything special.

Gaming just isn't that bit on linux, and those games that are, are pretty easily found on all major distros.

What most people here do, is to dual boot a system with linux and windows. they install games on windows, and do work on linux. Though there are some great games that run on linux,

Battle for Wesnoth, Neverwinter Nights, and freeciv being my favorites.

it depends on what type of gaming you refer to

if you are referring to linux native games, then any of the distros will do

if you are referring to windows games, then windows is your best bet

There are a fair few indie games that run natively on Linux, as well. Some of them are on offer at the moment, and if you go to the developers' sites they'll generally give you a choice of platforms. 2dboy (World of Goo) even have debian and rpm packages!

Battle for Wesnoth. <3 Great game.

From my experiences, You won't be playing Crysis 2 on a Linux System. WINE can only take you so far. Dual-Booting (Windows / Linux) is the route I take.

Wine is not a good choice for gaming. Do you know any game for Linux only (not mini-game)? I need a big game.

If you want a real PC for gaming then it should be having specification like
    Videocard: 555m, Regza 37"
    Processor: i7 2630QM
    Mainboard:
    Memory: 4GB DDR3
    Soundcard: Via HD, x-530
    PSU: 150w
