GNOME mplayer fullscreen problems
System specs: dual core pentium 1.6ghz, unknown laptop manufacturer, 1280x800 screen. Running the latest lucid puppy. With what i assume to be the latest stable GNOME mplayer build.
When I enter fullscreen playing a 720x1280 video, the frame that was being shown when I activated fullscreen is displayed at the top of the screen. The video keeps playing, but that 40 pixel letterbox on the top is the top of that frame. Also if the control bar is visible on fullscreen, that too gets frozen onto the letterbox on the bottom. Other than that, the video plays with no problems. Any ideas?
Thanks

Have you tried other video players, such as VLC or Kaffeine?
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
