    Radeon HD 6570

Installed a Radeon HD 6570 video card on in a core duo multiboot box. The win xp drivers work fine both for the video and sound. Linux mint 12 and Ubuntu 11.10 work fine for the HD video, but no sound is transmitted to through the HDMI cable although I do get sound through the usual motherboard sound outputs. Furthermore I am also trying a Bodhi distribution and I only get colored snow so I cannot download the dirvers since I cannot read the screen.
    So I need 2 solutions:
    1. the sound routed through the HDMI cable for mint and ubuntu
    2. just to get it to work at all for Bodhi
    TX for any help

If you haven't solved this yet, here is a link that may help: How to Setup HDMI Digital Playback in Linux
