MS Lifecam Cinema HD and autoexposure control

I'm using a heavily modded MS Lifecam Cinema HD webcam for planetary photography. It works well in Windows, but it is quite useless in Linux because I haven't found a capture software that allows me to switch the autoexposure functionality off.

Is there a way to control autoexposure on Linux?

Sorry to disappoint you, but sometime it is easier to buy a Linux compatible hardware & more cost effective from time prespective rather than trying to get Windows ones to work under Linux. It is unfortunate, but I had thrown few Windows hardware before when converting these boxes into Linux boxes.
