mjpeg tools for xorg
hello again!
is there an mpeg codec utility that doesn't require XFree86? i have XOrg here and the one needed by the Kipi plugin for Digikam is mjpegtools @ mjpegtools.sourceforge.net. it requires XFree86. is there a workaround for this?Registered User #345074

I think that Xfree and Xorg are interchangable. Have you tried to install it? If so, what are the errors?

BTW... mjpegtools.sourceforge.net doesn't exist.

hehe..sorry guys it's mjpeg without the tools... my bad.
it says it requires xfree86 and stops installing. anyway, i think i've found the answer. i just overlooked it when i was searching for it a few hours ago. it's at freshrpms.net. this should work as it's meant for FC2.
this would have been much easier if i had a broadband connection. deng!
