I see nothing missing. I'm stumped. You might want to wait for a newer version to come out or keep an eye on that forum to see if someone comes up with a workaround. You might also consider that the upgrade is going to cost more money once it gets to version 20+. I would even suggest that you wait awhile longer than that until they have come up with a functioning product. You might have better luck going with strictly Debian, since that is what they are using. That's about all I can come up with for now.

    MikeTbob,
Thank you very much for your assistance. I'm certain that they will eventually come up with a functioning version for LMDE. I've bought the license and it is good for MC 19 forever. I rarely have to upgrade. I've been running my original Media Jukebox 8 for over 10 years now. I'm really only using it for music (defined as something to which you can whistle or hum the melody). MJ8 and subsequent JRivers Media products have some unique ways to create and utilize playlists easily which are not on the other Linux Media Centers or Jukeboxes. I actually got MJ8 (a Windows program) to run on LMDE, but it wouldn't recognize my cd/dvd drive. So I had to use another program to download music into my Music Folder and then let MJ8 load it. I'll keep working.
Thank you very much again. Now if I just knew enough to understand what I did and comprehend the results of what I copied and sent you, I'd probably be able to make this program run on LMDE.
    Very appreciatively

Well I don't understand much of it myself but here is a different media player which I use often. You might give it a whirl and see how it fits on you.

Tried it and a bunch of others and they wouldn't do what I wanted like JRivers Media Jukebox 8 (of 10 years ago does). I just want off Windows and this is the program that will do it. I'll just wait for the next release of MC 19. I suspect that they will be coming pretty fast to satisfy the demand. Or I may need to switch Linux distros. However I want a rolling one. And a guy with Arch Linux is having similar problems according to the JRivers Interact forum.
    Thanks anyway.
