Are you specifically looking for games you can play on your computer? I recently picked up one of these that lets me play some of those classics on my TV. They have different ones with other games on them.

Moe , I had in mind playing on my computer but it's good
to know that these gadgets exist. Is the joystick good quality or is it going to break after heavy usage ?
Valan , thanks for the tip.I had a look at the website and so far it doesn't look very promising for the specific games
I'm interested in but I haven't checked all of them yet.

For Breakout, search for LBreakOut2. Maelstrom is a clone of Asteroids. Penguin Command instead of Missle Command. I don't know of a decent PacMan(google always takes me to Arch Linux's package manager, go figure).
I used to know of a good Space Invaders clone but I can't remember the name. However, if you like Galaga, look for XGalaga.
Most of these ship with most distros. Check your install discs.OH NOOOOO!!!!!! You did it the way I said?
- 01-31-2005 #7Well, my particular vice is Galaga, and I get pretty rough with it...it hasn't broken yet. I'll report back if it does. The only trouble I had with it was that the base for the joystick isn't very big, so you have to do some arranging to keep it stable while you're pounding away at it.

I say this because I was an arcade fan of Ms. Pac-Man and I got used to the way the joystick felt (for instance, it could only go left, right, up or down, whereas this one goes diagonal..it throws my game off). Other than that, I think for $20 it was a good deal for it.
