help with installing game on cedega
im a bit of a noob and and need help. i managed to get hold of cedega 4.2.1 rpm and have installed. i tried installing command & conqueror generals by
i get to the section where it just starts trying to install the first file then i go into error where it says error disk full. plz helpCode:cd /mnt/cdrom cedega setup.exe -monitor-cdrom-eject

my / directory doesnt really have enough space to install it but i think it gets installed into my /home which isnt a problem. correct me if im wrong.

What is the purpose of the -monitor-cdrom-eject option that you're giving Cedega? I've never had to use that to install before.

dont worry about that. that is just for multiple disk installing which i think auto unmounts the old disk and mounts the new.
- 02-09-2005 #7Provided you're logged in as your regular user (and not under su) then yeah, Cedega should be trying to install inside your /home/username/.transgaming/c_drive/ if I remember correctly.

I would suggest using Point2Play to install and Play C&C Generals.
It allows a different setup for all you games and centraly manages all Cedega Versions, in case you need backward compatibility.

HEELP!! I'm trying toplay Baldurs gate on cedega and I don't know how to
makeit work. Every time it get's to a part where he's checking for the cd it gives me a blue screen saying i don't have i cd in drive. PLEASE help!
