    XMMS ID3 tag problem

    Hey, guys,
I'm having this strange problem with the id3 tags in xmms. For some files, even though I change the id3 info from View File Info, xmms still doesn't see the change and displays it as what it was. I have confirmed the change by using
    Code:
    id3info TheSong.mp3
which shows that the id3 tags did change. BTW, I'm using xmms 1.2.10 on FC3. Can anyone help me please?

Have you tried clearing your playlist and then re - adding the file once again in xmms ??? This worked for me actually ...
ID3 is not handled well by xmms or in linux in general. However I use easytag for tag-editing .., its quite good.

Yes, I have tried that and it didn't help.
