ut2k4...startup
I know that this question has been asked but I pretty positive that I have my ati card installed. I start Unreal Tournament 2004 and it shows the splash screen. Afterwards the splash screen closes and that's it.
I'm pretty positive that my ATI card is installed cause I played Enemy Territory with a high fps and I can play SuperTux with OpenGL. So why isn't it loading? The installation seemed to go fine.

Re: ut2k4...startup
I should hope you're pretty positive it's installed. Seeing it on the shelf still in the box is usually a good indication it's not.

Well I tried doing
and then opening a root terminal and then running ut2k4 but then I gotCode:xhost +
Also ut2004 seems to randomly crash at the splash screen now.Code:splittik@ghost:~$ /home/splittik/ut2004/ut2004 Signal: SIGSEGV [segmentation fault] Aborting. Crash information will be saved to your logfile. splittik@ghost:~$

I updated my ut2k4. I got it working one time logged in as root and it played alright but I'm not sure what happened, it exited while loading a map after I finished playing a couple of games. Then I tried as a user and it gave me the
error again...not sure if the random crashing problem during the splash screen is fixed.Code:splittik@ghost:~$ sudo /home/splittik/ut2004/ut2004 Signal: SIGSEGV [segmentation fault] Aborting.
