I think it's just gmplayer. Have you tried Xine? Even the full version of Kaffeine is pretty good: http://packman.links2linux.de/?action=325 Just make sure to remove the one you have currently if you do have it on there.

I don't like kplayer, I only use gmplayer. I know there is an xmms-mplayer plugin out there but it did'nt work.
As soulbrothax831 said, XINE frontends are good. Kaffeine if you're on KDE or gxine on gnome. I prefer gxine on the other wm's too...

what is kplayer
im tryint to install gmplayer but thats the one that cant find the required package.
i have xine but id like something else.
