    Video CODEC Requested


    A friend of mine sent me 40 video files in ASF format, unfortunately these don't want to play in XINE, it gives me a "Demuxer failed" message.

    XINE can already play normal ASF files, however I need a CODEC that can decode "ASF ISO MPEG-4 (ffmpeg)/MS IMA ADPCM (ffmpeg)" files, a small sample of which can be found here.

    The first person to suggest Mplayer dies. That has 20 dependencies, all of which have their own dependencies.

    do you have ffmpeg installed?
