Video Editing
I have seen some softwares in windows use this effect. The effect that i am talking about is almost similar to the green screen effect but some softwares dont require you to have a green screen you could be standing in front of a wall of something with the same color so you could remove it from the video.
Do you know any video editing softwares for linux that i can use to mix two videos. I am trying to make it look like i am standing in from of a mountain while making this video. I have a picture of the mountain and i have a video of me in front of my wall( which is light blue). I am trying to delete the wall so the video only has me. I will place a picture of the mountain in the back so it looks like i an in front of the mountain.
Is there any good softwares for linux that i can use?
I purchased MAGIX MUSIC MAKER 2005 DELUXE but dont know how to use it correctly.

You may want to try the link below. While the Cinelerra software is not for "consumer use" there does appear to be some links and general inormation for what you are looking for, perhaps particularly Kino. The technique you are referring to with the "green screen" I believe is called compositing. So a search for that may help as well. Good luck.
