Rosegarden or Ardour
Looking for some opinions on the topic of audio recording. Has anone used both(or either or) Rosegarden and Ardour, and if so pros and cons of your experience using them. This is one of the last holdouts for me and Windows. Note that I currently use Cubase for all my recording and am pleased for the most part with it.

No thoughts, eh? Just as well. I can't get either of them to work enough to compare.

You could try Audacity on Windows, and if you like it, switch to Linux
. Great capabilities, and it's capable of doing line-in recording (if that's what you're looking for?).
