    Got a lot of avi files does anyone know howto to look at them thx to mplayer for example: I install the .deb package could look at my dvds but not my divs (which are encoded in .avi)
    If anyone got a clue thx in advance to share it

    Are you trying to play divx files? If so, mplayer should be able to play them. If not, you can get divx for Linux here: http://www.divx.com/divx/linux/
